Residential Care
Polarity Care provides a therapeutic environment for all of our young people. We have qualified staff members with years of experience in both crisis and leaving care provisions. All of our staff are trained in delivering support using the PACE Model, with added extras of personal trainers and Reiki healers. Our trained staff or caregivers oversee their daily needs, including meals, hygiene, and recreational activities.
Education and Skill Building
At Wren House, we hold a strong belief in the paramount importance of education in a child's life. We understand that some young people who come to stay with us may not currently have access to formal education.
While Wren House is not a registered school, we are committed to upholding the right to education for all children and young people. We recognise the life-enriching and empowering potential of education and view qualifications as essential for expanding opportunities. Education is a top priority for us.
Each young person under our care is treated as an individual, and their educational needs are assessed accordingly. We provide them with an Individual Educational Plan and the necessary support to ensure their full participation. Our goal is to reintegrate all our young people into educational settings.
The Wren House team firmly believes that every child and young person in our care should have equal access to educational opportunities and should not face academic or social disadvantages. Some may have experienced negative educational experiences, affecting their self-esteem and learning provision. We work diligently to ensure that referring authorities actively collaborate with Wren House staff and local educational authorities before placement.
